Florida Gas Transmission

Florida Gas Transmission Company (FGT) operates an approximately 5,000-mile natural gas pipeline with extensive access to natural gas supplies. FGT can deliver 2.3 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas to the rapidly growing Florida market. The Florida customer base includes electric utilities, independent power producers, industrial customers and local distribution companies.

The Florida Gas Transmission system extends from south Texas along the Gulf Coast into the Florida Panhandle and then divides to serve the east and west coasts of the Florida peninsula. FGT provides service to over 250 delivery points with connections to over 50 natural gas-fueled electric generation plants.

Florida Gas Transmission Company, a subsidiary of Citrus Corp, is operated by Southern Union Company. Citrus Corp. is 50 percent owned by Southern Union Company (NYSE:SUG) and 50 percent owned by El Paso Corporation (NYSE:EP).

Through its local distribution companies, Missouri Gas Energy and New England Gas Company, Southern Union also serves more than half a million natural gas end-user customers in Missouri and Massachusetts.
